ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
From 1977 – 1986 Bob Shiner participated in over 120 outdoor and One-Person Shows, exhibiting and selling his woodcuts, linocuts and graphics. The collection of works, shown at the Lynden Gallery, Elizabethtown spans a period of time from 1980 to the present.

Bob Shiner holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Art Education and a Masters Degree in Art Education from Kutztown State College, now Kutztown University. Bob was an art teacher in the Elizabethtown Area School District for 15 years, operated his own gallery and frame shop – The Shiner Gallery for 14 years, was manager of the framing services at Gallery 444 in Hershey for 4 years and taught art at York Suburban High School for 15 years. Bob recently retired to Carolina Shores, North Carolina.

Bob has built a reputation as a fine graphic artist and printmaker. His work illustrates a mastery of the woodcut process, his primary medium. Bob’s work is finely crafted, whimsical and yet serious. His work leaves the viewer with a smile, a respect for his insights, and a deeper contemplation.
