TOM WITMER back to GALLERY EVENTS for upcoming Jazz musicians
The Tom Witmer Trio performs regularly in and around Central Pennsylvania venues including the Historic Strasburg Inn in Strasburg, Aloise's at Bube's Brewery in Mount Joy, The Belvedere Inn and El Serrano in Lancaster, and Jazz of 405 and the Central Pa Friends of Jazz's annual Jazz Walk in Harrisburg. Witmer's Duo performs weekly at Char's Bella Mundo in Harrisburg and at Checker's Bistro in Lancaster. Primarially self-taught, Witmer studied at Berklee College of Music and Towson State University in Pennsylvania. He studied privately with several well-known Philadelphia area guitarists and steadily hones his craft through freelance opportunities.. Playing in the classic jazz tradition, Tom lists some of his influences as Joe Pass, Barney Kessel, Miles Davis and Lenny Breau.
