ART OPENINGS
Lynden Gallery is passionate about their commitment to the Fine Arts Community in Central Pennsylvania.   Perceived as being a bit off the beaten path - not really mind you, we're central to Harrisburg, York, Lancaster, Dauphin and Lebanon counties, an enjoyable drive over the river from York and Baltimore, and a convenient train ride from Philadelphia and along the main line.  None-the-less, the gallery strives to provide events that are worth going out of the way for.

In 2003, Lisa Clemens, proprietor of the gallery began introducing Jazz alongside Fine Art as "simply a natural pairing" she suggested. Exhibiting work of some of the area's most exceptional talents in contemporary art, the Lynden Gallery is host to painters, sculptors, illustrators, and craftsmen, hosting Opening Jazz Receptions every six to eight weeks.  

The suggested $5.00 cover charge supports the musicians with many of the bands regularly agreeing to perform for less than they typically command, or for whatever comes in the door. Your generous support allows Lynden Gallery to keep the music coming in this acoustically pleasant, smoke-free environment, the vibe resonating between the visual and musical arts.

PARLOR CONCERTS
In 2012, Lisa started a series of Parlor Concerts bringing an intimate group together in the upstairs loft of her personal living quarters for the soul purpose of serious listening and engaging with the musicians.  With seating reserved to 35 guests, the BYOB concerts are typically sold out, and have the audience clammering for more. Acoustically rich, the 25' x 25' space with 14' ceilings, the artists love the space too, bringing Lynden Gallery Parlor Concerts a regional reputation and a steady supply or ready talent.
Reservations are $15-25.00, depending on the band.
