design studio commercial LYNDEN GALLERY Built in 1882, this original downtown fire hall was purchased for use as retail space after 1976 when a new fire hall was built. It spent 15 years as a furniture store and four as a hardware store before it was purchased for use as a gallery in 2000. The first floor accomodates consultation space for custom framing and design, a large exhibition galllery, custom framing and wood-working shops. The building required complete renovation and all new mechnancial systems. In 2011, the gallery underwent additional renovation. |
