One day exhibit, sale and artist reception
Sunday, September 28, 2003, from 1-3:00
Dutch artist and educator Leo Klein's works in oil-pastel have been exhibited widely in both Europe and
North America, and are found in private collections in many countries. Leo was a Waldorf teacher at
the Rotterdam Waldorf School in the Netherlands for 36 years. Since his retirement, he has been busy
painting in his Rotterdam studio and consulting at Waldorf Schools around the world, conducting workshops
for teachers and addressing students and parents alike.
Untitled I and Untitled II by Leo Kline, collection of the Susquehanna Waldorf School
"Art can be a reflection of the spiritual worlds. Art is created to inspire human beings. The goal of my work is
to confirm, or help to build, a bridge between the visible and invisible world. It is important to find the balance
between form and chaos or movement. The rainbow of the soul can only have its colors when the eye has heard." Leo Kline
